Volleyball Recap: Pebble Hills Takes a Loss

Pebble Hills was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Melissa Cardinals.

Kylah Dickerson paced Pebble Hills' offense, picking up eight kills. Dickerson were helped by Nadine Butler and Raelyn Shaver, who contributed eight assists each.

Pebble Hills' defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Melissa, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Coincidentally, Pebble Hills and Melissa will both be playing Rowlett the next time they take the court. The Cardinals will head out to face the Eagles at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, while the Spartans will play them later in the day, at 1:00 p.m.
