Basketball Recap: Dierks Piles Up the Points Against Horatio

There's no place like home for Dierks, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat the Horatio Lions 65-31. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Outlaws also won the last time the pair played back in January.

Dierks' win bumped their record up to 5-6. As for Horatio, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Dierks will take on Mena in a holiday battle at at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Mena knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five games -- so hopefully Dierks likes a good challenge. As for Horatio, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Horatio Lions challenge the Acorn Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
