Basketball Recap: Springfield Comes Up Short

Springfield was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 22nd straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 67-54 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Dallas Dragons. The Millers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Dragons apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in December of 2017.

Springfield's defeat dropped their record down to 0-19. As for Dallas, their win ended a nine-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 1-16.

Coming up, Springfield will venture away from home to take on Eagle Point at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Dallas, they will face off against Lebanon at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
