Idalia extended their winning streak to eight on Friday, bumping them up to 8-0. They blew past the Otis Bulldogs 56-12. Fans of the Wolves have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 20+ points.

Idalia found their leader in sophomore Broderick Kite, who rushed for 36 yards and one touchdown, and also threw for 73 yards and a pair of TDs while completing 71.4% of his passes.

Idalia was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 318 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 159 rushing yards in six consecutive contests.

As for Otis, their loss ended a six-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 6-2. The matchup marked their lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Although Otis took the loss, they still got scores from Mitchell Stivers and Cambric Klinzmann.

Coming up, Idalia will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Fleming at 7:00 p.m. The Wolves will be up against the Wildcats' rather soft defense (which has allowed 28.88 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Otis, they are taking a road trip to take on Peetz at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
