Staunton barely beat Riverheads the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Storm were the clear victors by a 5-1 margin over the Gladiators on Thursday. Considering Staunton have won five contests by more than three goals this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Staunton's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-1. Those home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 20 goals over those three games. As for Riverheads, their loss dropped their record down to 4-2.

The future could be bright for both Staunton and Riverheads: their next opponents haven't had the best luck recently. The Storm will look to extend Alleghany's eight-game losing streak when they meet at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
