It was a good run, but Mission Bay unfortunately witnessed the end of their 11-game winning streak on Monday. They took a 64-45 bruising from the Lincoln Trojans. The game marked the Buccaneers' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Lincoln to victory, but perhaps none more so than Anthony Moore, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 12 boards. Donez Lindsey was another key player, going 7 for 13 on his way to 18 points.

Mission Bay's loss dropped their record down to 12-4. As for Lincoln, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 10-1.

Mission Bay and Lincoln should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps California Rankings. Mission Bay (ranked 31st) will meet Scripps Ranch (ranked 482nd) at 7:30 p.m. on January 10, 2025. Meanwhile, Lincoln (ranked fourth) will meet Tracy (ranked 218th) at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
