South Columbus came into Friday's matchup looking for another win against South Brunswick, but Jayden Daniels wouldn't allow it. In a tight game that could have gone either way, the Cougars made off with a 28-27 win over the Stallions thanks in part to Daniels, who threw for 247 yards and four TDs while completing 74.1% of his passes. He has become a key player for South Brunswick: the team is undefeated when he posts at least three passing touchdowns, but 1-3 otherwise.

Amerius Revels helped Daniels out on the ground, rushing for 118 yards. Revels' rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 103 rushing yards.

South Brunswick is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season. As for South Columbus, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 4-4.
