Softball Recap: Kearny Takes a Loss

Thursday just wasn't the day for Kearny's offense. They lost 8-0 to the Montgomery Aztecs on Thursday. Having soared to a lofty 11 runs in the game before, the Komets' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Kearny's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Montgomery, their victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Kearny will venture away from home to challenge Orange Glen at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Montgomery, they will head out to take on Francis Parker at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Montgomery is facing Francis Parker at the right time seeing as Francis Parker is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
