Softball Recap: River Valley Takes a Loss

River Valley lost against Brandywine back in May of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Mustangs fell 10-6 to the Bobcats. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Ava Ledesma and Emma Seifert stepped up to the plate in a big way. Ledesma went 3-for-5 with two RBI, while Seifert went 3-for-4 with one RBI. Briana Taylor also deserves some recognition as she got her first hits of the season.

River Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Brandywine, the win also got them back to even at 2-2.

While River Valley had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
