Football Game Recap: Rock Ridge vs. Stone Bridge

Stone Bridge took their contest against Rock Ridge on Friday by a conclusive 50-22 score. Fans of Stone Bridge have seen this all before: every one of Stone Bridge's games this year has ended as a stomp.

The match started off well for Stone Bridge, whose offense put up 42 first-half points. Meanwhile, Rock Ridge couldn't get anything going offensively, leaving the score at 42-0 heading into the break. Stone Bridge were outscored in the second half, but Rock Ridge's efforts were ultimately no more than a drop in the ocean. Stone Bridge added further sheen to their flawless record, now 7-0. The loss dropped Rock Ridge's record to 1-7.

Both teams are staying within the conference for their upcoming matches. Next week Stone Bridge take on Tuscarora at 7:00 PM. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a win streak alive as Stone Bridge skips in on seven wins and Tuscarora on three. As for Rock Ridge, they will face off against John Champe.
