Baseball Recap: Northeast Takes a Loss

Northeast lost against Dodge County back in April of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Raiders lost 18-3 to the Indians. The Raiders just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Northeast saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jordan Durham, who went 1-for-2 with one triple and one RBI.

Northeast's defeat dropped their record down to 6-14. As for Dodge County, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 9-12 record this season.

Northeast will square off against Twiggs County at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Cobras have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.85 runs per game on average), something the Raiders will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Dodge County, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Telfair County at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Indians are facing the Trojans at the right time seeing as the Trojans are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
