Football Recap: Missisquoi Valley Comes Up Short

Missisquoi Valley's last matchup with Milton could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's contest on Saturday. The Thunderbirds were outmatched by the Yellowjackets and fell 66-6. The Thunderbirds have struggled against the Yellowjackets recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Missisquoi Valley's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Milton, their win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 2-3.

Looking ahead, Missisquoi Valley is taking a road trip to challenge Spaulding at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Milton, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Mt. Abraham. The Eagles' defense has only allowed eight points per game this season, so the Yellowjackets' offense will have their work cut out for them.
