Soccer Recap: Glenwood Comes Up Short

Glenwood lost against Mount Paran Christian back in March of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Glenwood Gators fell just short of the Mount Paran Christian Eagles by a score of 4-3. That's two games in a row now that the Gators have lost by just one goal.

Makenna Casner and Ansley Hallam scored all three of Glenwood's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 15 goals.

This is the second loss in a row for Glenwood and nudges their season record down to 3-2. As for Mount Paran Christian, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Coming up, Glenwood will take on Prattville Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Glenwood is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4.8 goals per game this season. As for Mount Paran Christian, they will be playing at home against St. Francis at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be St. Francis' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
