NCSSM: Morganton had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 3 goals) and they went ahead and made it six on Wednesday. They blew past the Mitchell Mountaineers 5-0. Considering NCSSM: Morganton have won seven games by more than two goals this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

NCSSM: Morganton pushed their record up to 13-2-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Mitchell, they are on a 12-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-12.
