Hancock County had to skate by with only a two-point margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the 44-point drubbing they dealt Southern on Saturday. The Hancock County Hornets simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Southern Trojans 62-18. The Hornets have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matches by 22 points or more this season.

The win got Hancock County back to even at 10-10. As for Southern, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-14.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hancock County will square off against Muhlenberg County at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Southern, they will welcome Moore at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Moore knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four contests -- so hopefully Southern likes a good challenge.
