Basketball Recap: Capitol Takes a Loss

Capitol was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 44-7 loss at the hands of the East Feliciana Tigers. The Lions were probably out for revenge after losing 47-26 to them when the teams met back in January of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Capitol's loss dropped their record down to 2-17. As for East Feliciana, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-4.

Capitol will challenge Plaquemine at 6:00 p.m. on January 22nd. As for East Feliciana, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Dutchtown at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday. East Feliciana is facing Dutchtown at the right time seeing as Dutchtown is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
