Recap: Plain Dealing Lions vs. Glenbrook Apaches        
        
		
            
 This season hasn't been kind to The Plain Dealing Lions, who are still winless after their eighth game. They had to suffer through a rough  70-20 loss at the hands of Glenbrook. While losing is never fun, Plain Dealing can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage  in MaxPreps' Louisiana football rankings  (they are ranked 309th, while Glenbrook is ranked 150th).
 Glenbrook got their  win on the backs of several key players, but it was  Chase Sentell out in front who rushed for 121 yards and two touchdowns, and also picked up 38 receiving yards. Sentell was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run  that went for 61 yards.  Landry Powell also deserves a shout-out for his two touchdowns.
 Plain Dealing's defeat was  their 11th straight on the road (dating back to last season), which dropped their overall record down to 0-8. Those losses could be blamed on the team's  offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 7.6 points per game. As for Glenbrook, the  win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 7-1.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Plain Dealing will  take on Beekman at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. As for Glenbrook, they will head out on the road to face off against Homer at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Homer is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
