Basketball Recap: Clymer Central Drops Highest Score of Season Against Brocton

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Clymer Central). They blew past the Brocton Bulldogs 57-34 on Tuesday. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Pirates with their most commanding win of the season.

Clymer Central found their leader in sophomore Roman Wassink, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and 16 boards. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Wassink has scored all season. Carson White was another key player, putting up 13 points and seven rebounds.

Clymer Central smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 17 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive boards they've posted since back in December of 2023.

Clymer Central's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-6. As for Brocton, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Clymer Central will venture away from home to face off against Chautauqua Lake at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Brocton, they will take on Panama at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
