Volleyball Recap: West Platte Triumphs

West Platte saw some tournament action on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Chrisman Bears. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bluejays.

Catelyn Carlson paced West Platte's offense, picking up seven kills. Carlson got some help from Amber Rutherford and her 18 assists. Rutherford was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.

West Platte's win bumped their record up to 12-10-1. As for Chrisman, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-13-1.

West Platte didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 1-1 tie against Adrian on the 27th. As for Chrisman, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Southeast on the 27th.
