Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Ligonier Valley). They were the clear victors by a 12-5 margin over the Deer Lakes Lancers on Monday. The Rams not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since May 14, 2024.

Ligonier Valley's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-4. As for Deer Lakes, they now have a losing record of 6-7.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Ligonier Valley will face off against rival Mt. Pleasant at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. This will be the Rams' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. Meanwhile, Deer Lakes is set to square off against their familiar foe Southmoreland at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday.
