Basketball Game Preview: Indianapolis Lutheran Saints vs. Lawrence North Wildcats

The Indianapolis Lutheran Saints will face off against the Lawrence North Wildcats at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Saturday, Indianapolis Lutheran came up short against Fort Wayne Concordia Lutheran and fell 54-46. The Saints have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Lawrence North unfortunately witnessed the end of their eight-game winning streak on Saturday. They took a 64-60 hit to the loss column at the hands of Warren Central. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Wildcats came into the match with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked fifth, while the Warriors are ranked 43rd).

Lawrence North's defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 8-2. As for Indianapolis Lutheran, their loss dropped their record down to 2-5.

Indianapolis Lutheran couldn't quite finish off Lawrence North in their previous matchup back in January of 2023 and fell 65-63. Can Indianapolis Lutheran avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
