Soccer Game Preview: Santa Ana vs. Fullerton

The Santa Ana Saints will face off against the Fullerton Indians at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday. Santa Ana's last five games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Last Tuesday, Santa Ana narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past Westminster 2-1. That's two games straight that the Saints have won by just one goal.

Meanwhile, neither Fullerton nor Garden Grove could gain the upper hand on Tuesday so the two teams had to settle for a 0-0 draw.

With that draw, Fullerton's record moves to 10-5-3. As for Santa Ana, their victory bumped their record up to 7-3-2.

Everything went Santa Ana's way against Fullerton in their previous matchup back in November of 2021, as Santa Ana made off with a 5-1 win. Will Santa Ana repeat their success, or does Fullerton have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
