The biggest upset of the week belonged to Hart County, who took down 146th ranked Elbert County, 6-0.
North Oconee extended the longest winning streak in AAA Region 8 this week by beating East Jackson, 57-0. This was the team's seventh consecutive win.
Jackson County's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Panthers feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Kyle Daniel has thrown for 1375 yards and 13 touchdowns this season, while Xavier Harper has 40 catches for 702 yards. Dustin Scott leads the league in rushing with 562 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when the Bulldogs take on Morgan County. Hart County is in fourth place, while the Bulldogs are in second place.
North Oconee took down the Eagles 57-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.
