Basketball Recap: Dodge City's Losing Streak Snapped at Ten Games

Dodge City came into Saturday's match having lost ten straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They took their game on Saturday with ease, bagging a 67-22 victory over the Junction City Bluejays. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Demons considering their 22-point performance the contest before.

Dodge City's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Junction City, they are on an 11-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Dodge City will take on Woodward in a holiday battle at at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Dodge City is facing Woodward at the right time seeing as Woodward is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Junction City, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Derby at 6:00 p.m. on January 9, 2025.
