Buhach Colony suffers fourth straight loss on the road

The Buhach Colony Thunder's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fifth straight loss. They took a 73-60 hit to the loss column at the hands of Central Valley. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.

Buhach Colony lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Carter Chapman, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 17 rebounds. Chapman has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last three times he's played. Another player making a difference was Dylan Garcia, who scored 15 points along with six rebounds and two steals.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Central Valley to victory, but perhaps none more so than Bryan Rodriguez, who scored nine points along with 14 rebounds. That's the first time this season that Rodriguez pulled down eight or more rebounds. Robbie Singh was another key contributor, scoring 17 points.

Buhach Colony's loss was their fourth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 8-11. As for Central Valley, their win ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-14.

Buhach Colony will take on Patterson at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Patterson is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last three games. As for Central Valley, they will head out on the road to square off against Golden Valley at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Golden Valley is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 54.6 points per game.
