Where every player in the 2025 Women's Final Four went to high school

California, DMV, Texas well represented in Tampa at NCAA championship.

With the Final Four tipping Friday in Tampa, Fla., we look back at where every player from South Carolina, Texas, UCLA and UConn played high school basketball.

California leads the way with nine players, including Te-Hina Paopao for South Carolina. Texas is next with seven players, including a heavy presence on the in-state Longhorns with six players hailing from the Lone Star State.

The DMV has a rich contingent, including three players from Sidwell Friends (Washington, D.C.) and a pair from Bishop McNamara (Forestville, Md.).

There are multiple MaxPreps All-Americans on the rosters as well as former two former MaxPreps National Players of the Year in Azzi Fudd of St. John's (Washington, D.C.) and Paige Bueckers of Hopkins (Minnetonka, Minn.). Additionally, two-time MaxPreps National Female Athlete of the Year Joyce Edwards of Camden (S.C.) will be on the floor for South Carolina.

In total, 21 states are represented along with Egypt, Finland and New Zealand.
