Basketball Recap: Northside Victorious

While Northside didn't have the best season last year (they finished 10-17), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They snuck past the Russell County Warriors with a 57-52 win on Saturday. That's more bragging rights for the Patriots, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The victory made it two in a row for Northside and bumps their season record up to 8-1. As for Russell County, they now have a losing record at 6-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Northside and Griffin will compete for holiday cheer at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Russell County, they will venture away from home to square off against Chattahoochee County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Russell County is facing Chattahoochee County at the right time seeing as Chattahoochee County is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
