Baseball Recap: Petaluma Makes It Nine in a Row at Home

While Petaluma put up some runs on Wednesday, the same can't be said for Analy. The Petaluma Trojans blew past the Analy Tigers 6-0. This was payback for the Trojans, who suffered a 7-6 loss the last time these two teams met.

The team relied heavily on Rowan Ball, who scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances. The team also got some help courtesy of Dalton Deadman, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 2-for-3.

Petaluma always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .531. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Analy only posted an OBP of .185.

Petaluma's victory was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-0.

Looking ahead, Petaluma will venture away from home to take on Archie Williams at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Analy, they will host San Rafael at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. Analy has now lost eight straight dating back to last season, leaving the team hunting for their first win since April 15.
