While Hagerty's victory against Lake Nona wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Huskies skirted past the Lions 3-1. That's more bragging rights for the Huskies, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

M. Alfonso looked comfortable as he tossed two innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two hits any time he's pitched this season.

Hagerty hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least four batters in three consecutive matches.

Hagerty's win bumped their record up to 19-2-1. As for Lake Nona, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 12-9.

Hagerty has already played their next game, a 10-3 victory against Lake Brantley on the 4th. As for Lake Nona, they are taking a road trip to face off against Timber Creek at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The Lions are facing the Wolves at the right time seeing as the Wolves are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
