Baseball Recap: Clyde Comes Up Short

Clyde fell victim to Bellevue and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Redmen. The Fliers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Redmen apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Kameron Shortridge was cooking despite his team's loss, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with three stolen bases.

Clyde's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Bellevue, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

Looking ahead, Clyde will face off against Willard at 4:45 p.m. on Thursday. As for Bellevue, they will head out to take on Columbian at 4:45 p.m. on Friday.
