Basketball Game Preview: Parkway Christian Eagles vs. Charyl Stockwell Preparatory Academy Sentinels

The Parkway Christian Eagles will venture away from home to face off against the Charyl Stockwell Preparatory Academy Sentinels at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Monday, Parkway Christian came up short against Clintondale and fell 59-50. The Eagles haven't had much luck with the Dragons recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Meanwhile, Charyl Stockwell Preparatory Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 73-21 loss at the hands of St. Francis de Sales. While losing is never fun, the Sentinels can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 570th in Michigan, while the Knights are ranked 98th in Ohio).

Parkway Christian's loss dropped their record down to 15-6. As for Charyl Stockwell Preparatory Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-11.

Parkway Christian strolled past Charyl Stockwell Preparatory Academy in their previous matchup back in December of 2024 by a score of 64-50. The rematch might be a little tougher for Parkway Christian since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
