Soccer Game Preview: Enumclaw vs. Decatur

Enumclaw is 0-6 against Decatur since March of 2017 but things could change on Wednesday. The Enumclaw Hornets will look to defend their home pitch against the Decatur Golden Gators at 7:00 p.m. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Enumclaw is looking to tack another W on to their season record, something they couldn't quite do against Kentlake on Monday. Enumclaw and Kentlake finished up their game with a 1-1 draw. The Hornets had to tread lightly for part of the match as Brian Silva and Brandon Almaraz were both handed yellow cards, which could explain the final result.

Meanwhile, Decatur played to a draw too, finishing 0-0 against Kent-Meridian.

Enumclaw's draw gives them a new season record of 1-1-1. Meanwhile, Decatur's record is now 1-0-1.

Enumclaw suffered a grim 4-0 defeat to Decatur in their previous meeting back in April of 2019. Can Enumclaw avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
