            Volleyball Recap: Sierra Chieftains vs. Fresno Christian Eagles        
        
		
        
        
            Sierra and Fresno Christian squared off in some playoff action  on Thursday, but Sierra had to settle for second. They came up short against  the Eagles, falling  3-0. The shutout was out of character for the Chieftains seeing as the last time the team failed to score was  back in September.
 Sierra was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Fresno Christian work for it, especially in the first set. The final score came out to 26-24, 25-15,  25-16.
 Fresno Christian found their leader in sophomore  Tatum Mcquown, who  had 17  assists and five  digs. Mcquown has been hot, having  posted 14 or more  assists the last seven times she's  played.
Sierra's loss dropped their record down to 32-13. As for Fresno Christian, they have  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won nine of their last ten contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 25-18 record  this season.
 Sierra does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Fresno Christian, they will challenge Mammoth at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday.
