Walhalla waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They came out on top against the Belton-Honea Path Bears by a score of 3-1. Walhalla better thank their lucky stars for the performance of Taylor Payne, as she scored every single goal for her team.

Walhalla pushed their record up to 10-4 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those four contests. As for Belton-Honea Path, their loss dropped their record down to 3-12.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Walhalla will venture away from home to take on Rabun Gap-Nacoochee at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Belton-Honea Path, they will head out to face off against Westside at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
