The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Bruins considering their two-run performance the game before.
Webster Schroeder came out on top against Spencerport on Monday thanks in part to the team's impressive five-run first inning. The Warriors were the clear victors by a 9-1 margin over the Rangers. The victory continues a trend for the Warriors in their matchups with the Rangers: they've now won seven in a row.
Kyara Murphy made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she tossed four innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 13 consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. That's the most hits she has posted since back in April of 2025.
In other batting news, Emma Juliano was incredible, going 3-for-5 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. Another player making a difference was Annika Swanson, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
Webster Schroeder was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .432. They are 7-1 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
Brighton's record now sits at 4-12. As for Webster Schroeder, their record is now 10-7.
