After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Booneville, Kossuth was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Alcorn Central Bears by a score of 79-72. This was a revenge game for the Aggies: when they faced off against the Bears back in January, they had to take a 87-63 defeat.

Several Bears players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Wilson McDonald, who dropped a double-double with 24 points and ten rebounds. The matchup was McDonald's 12th in a row with at least 18 points. Another player making a difference was Tracy Miller, who posted eight points and nine boards.

Kossuth's victory bumped their record up to 10-8. As for Alcorn Central, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-10.

Kossuth has already played their next contest, a 69-53 win against Mantachie on the 5th. As for Alcorn Central, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 62-54 victory against Belmont on the 5th.
