Football Game Preview: Kuemper Knights vs. Estherville Lincoln Central Midgets

The Kuemper Knights will head out on the road to face off against the Estherville Lincoln Central Midgets at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Kuemper has six straight victories, Estherville Lincoln Central has nine straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

On Friday, Kuemper made easy work of Spirit Lake and carried off a 41-21 win. Those 41 points were actually the fewest the Knights have put up all season, but given the result they're probably not too concerned.

Meanwhile, Estherville Lincoln Central scored the most points they've had this season on Friday, but it wasn't enough. They were dealt a 50-21 loss at the hands of Odebolt Arthur Battle Creek Ida Grove. The Midgets were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 43-7.

Kuemper's victory bumped their record up to 6-0. As for Estherville Lincoln Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-6.
