Volleyball Recap: Sullivan East Comes Up Short

Sullivan East had lost five straight on the road, but on Monday they dropped down to 8-9 to make it six. They lost 3-0 to the Tennessee Vikings. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Vikings this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in August.

As for Tennessee, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-8 record this season. They not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since September 23rd (when they won 3-0).

Among those leading the charge was Addyson Gentry, who had 16 digs and four assists. That's the most assists she has posted over her last seven matches.

Looking ahead, Sullivan East will head out on the road to challenge Volunteer at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Tennessee does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
