Recap: Williamstown Blue Devils vs. Bellows Free Academy Bullets
After losing to the Bellows Free Academy Bullets the last time they met, the Williamstown Blue Devils decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Williamstown took down the Bullets 54-37 on Wednesday.
It was another big night for Evan Bailey, who scored 27 points along with seven steals. That makes it four consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Williamstown's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Colby Laggner, who scored six points along with 15 rebounds.
Williamstown has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season. As for Bellows Free Academy, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-8.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Williamstown's homestand continues as they prepare to take on the Chargers at 7:00 p.m. on February 2nd. Craftsbury Academy is no doubt hoping to put an end to a six-game streak of away losses. As for Bellows Free Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against the Spartans at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Winooski is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last six games.
