Volleyball Game Preview: Sumner-Eddyville-Miller Mustangs vs. Elba Bluejays

Sumner-Eddyville-Miller has gone a perfect 6-0 against Elba recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Mustangs will challenge the Bluejays at 6:00 p.m. Sumner-Eddyville-Miller is coming into the contest hot, having won their last seven games.

Sumner-Eddyville-Miller not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since October 9th (when they won 3-0). They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over Palmer.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-12, 25-17.

Sumner-Eddyville-Miller found their leader in sophomore Lily Hrasky, who had 11 digs.

Sumner-Eddyville-Miller was lethal from the service line and finished the match with ten aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least seven aces in three consecutive matches.

Meanwhile, Elba hadn't done well against Anselmo-Merna recently (they were 0-8 in their previous eight matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. The Bluejays came out on top against the Coyotes by a score of 3-1.

Sumner-Eddyville-Miller's record is now 24-6. As for Elba, their record now sits at 13-16.
