It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Aragon ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They skirted past the San Mateo Bearcats 2-1. That's more bragging rights for the Dons, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Aragon's win was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Kyle Crawford, who got on base in three of his five plate appearances with one RBI.

Aragon moved to 6-11 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for San Mateo, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-9.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Aragon beat the Bearcats by a score of 2-1 on Thursday.
