Basketball Recap: Central Takes a Loss

Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They had to suffer through a 70-33 loss at the hands of the Russellville Golden Tigers. The contest marked the Wildcats' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Central's defeat dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Russellville, they moved to 3-8 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Central has already played their next game, a 62-40 win against Sheffield on the 27th. As for Russellville, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 53-40 loss against Pearl-Cohn on the 26th.
