Baseball Recap: Chapman Comes Up Short

Chapman was the 6-2 winner over Council Grove when they last played one another on Tuesday, but their luck changed this time around. The Irish lost 11-4 to the Braves on Tuesday.

Chapman saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Aven Woods, who went 1-for-3 with one RBI.

Chapman's loss dropped their record down to 10-8. As for Council Grove, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season.

Chapman will head out to face off against Abilene at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Council Grove, they will be playing at home against Lyndon at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
