Basketball Recap: Edison Comes Up Short

Edison was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 67-54 to the Hoover Patriots. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 992nd, while the Patriots are ranked 467th).

Edison's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Hoover, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-3.

Edison and Ridgeview will round out the year against one another at at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Hoover, they and Sunnyside will face off at 5:45 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played.
