Softball Recap: Lake Stevens Finds Home Field Redemption Against Arlington

There's no place like home for Lake Stevens, who bounced back after a loss on the road two weeks ago. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Arlington Eagles on Monday, sneaking past 2-1. That's more bragging rights for the Vikings, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Charli Pugmire spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on four hits and racked up 12 Ks. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 5.8 strikeouts per game.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Alaina Emme, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two doubles and one run. Those two doubles gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Addi Fletcher, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with two RBI and one double.
