Softball Game Preview: Molalla Indians vs. The Dalles Riverhawks

Molalla hasn't had much luck against The Dalles recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Indians will host the Riverhawks at 4:30 p.m. Molalla is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.7 runs per game this season.

On Wednesday, Molalla came up short against Gladstone and fell 6-2.

Molalla saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brooklyn Brady, who went 1-for-3 with one run.

Meanwhile, The Dalles came tearing into Wednesday's matchup with seven straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9.4 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They put the hurt on the Rangers with a sharp 12-2 victory. The Riverhawks might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight games by seven runs or more this season.

Molalla's loss dropped their record down to 12-9. As for The Dalles, their win bumped their record up to 12-3.
