The Kansas City Christian School Panthers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fifth straight loss. They were beaten by Heritage Christian Academy 55-26. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Kansas City Christian School in their matchups with Heritage Christian Academy: they've now lost nine in a row.

Heritage Christian Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Biruk Dietz led the charge by scoring 12 points along with seven assists and five rebounds. Dietz has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Landon Pittman, who scored 14 points along with three steals.

Kansas City Christian School's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Heritage Christian Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 4-2.
