Basketball Recap: Glenn Bobcats vs. Reagan Raiders
Glenn was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They received a blow as they fell 64-49 to the Reagan Raiders. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bobcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 72-36 back in December of 2024.

Despite the loss, Glenn still got an impressive performance from Zyire Murphy, who posted 17 points and four steals. With that strong performance, Murphy is now averaging an impressive 15.1 points per game. Another player making a difference was Derrek Griffin, who had 14 points and three steals.
Jayden McCrae continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Reagan, going 10 for 16 en route to 30 points along with six rebounds and three blocks. The matchup was McCrae's fourth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of KJ Ford, who scored nine points.
Glenn's defeat dropped their record down to 5-13. As for Reagan, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-7.
When Glenn and Reagan next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Glenn will face off against West Forsyth and their three-game winning streak at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Similarly, Reagan will try to stop Davie's three-game winning streak when the meet at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
