Soccer Recap: West Mesa Comes Up Short

After flying high against Belen on Tuesday, West Mesa came back down to earth. The Mustangs came up short against the Highland Hornets on Wednesday, falling 3-0. West Mesa have struggled against Highland recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

West Mesa's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Highland, their win bumped their record up to 7-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. West Mesa will square off against Valley at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Highland, they will take on Belen at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday.
