Basketball Recap: Holy Cross Takes a Loss

Holy Cross was the 58-55 winner over Conner when they last played one another back in January of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Holy Cross Indians fell to the Conner Cougars 72-67. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game two weeks ago (59), the Indians still had to take the loss.

Holy Cross' defeat dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Conner, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-4-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Holy Cross won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Woodward at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday. Holy Cross is facing Woodward at the right time seeing as Woodward is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Conner, they will venture away from home to challenge Covington Catholic at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
